A Random Friday Evening

Yesterday evening, I had a thought. My parents were away, and the dinner I was supposed to eat last night was, well, not exactly the most tasty. That is when I wondered if I should swiggy myself an ice-cream as a treat. I opened my phonepe app to check the amount of money I had in my bank account and realized I barely had any money remaining. I cringed at my own spendthriftness. I mean, I guess monthly rupees 2000 is not all that much after all.

And that moment of revelation is what lead me to this website.

I googled how to earn money online as a student and this was like the top third option.

Blog Writing.

Even back when I was in 12th grade- which is not too long ago, just last year haha- I had skipped blog writing in the English paper because it took up too much time and I have a slow writing speed.

Moral of the story: I have no idea how to write and maintain a blog.

I am pretty good at English, considering the fact that it is not my first language (Yes, I am kind of flexing. lol.), but the thing is, about 80 percent of my English writing skill knowledge is from reading Wattpad books and fanfictions, Webtoons and other novels on my phone.

So, I wonder what I should make this blog about.

Here are some of the ideas I came up with:-

1. Talking about my daily life and treating this blog as a kind of diary journal. Oversharing is fun sometimes. My life isn't the most exciting, main character energy type of life but, personally at least, I enjoy reading about random people's regular life.

2. Taking requests from people and writing random (I know I use this word a lot 😅) short fanfics or reader inserts because I might as well.

3. I also like to draw once in a while so maybe I could upload my sketches here? Tbh though, my drawing skills are only good enough for me to get a B+ in school probably. Not that I had gotten a B+ in school; I had gotten an A. But as a person who enjoys art, I can kinda tell how much my skills are worth haha.

4. I also enjoy reading manwhas and mangas, all: shoujo, shounen and yaoi {yuri is not really my cup of tea}, quite a lot. Maybe I could share my favorites with everyone reading this blog (if anyone is reading this blog 😢).
